Profile:
2008 was the first season this boat hit New Zealand waters. It was evident this boat was fast, however due to a lack of spares we decided after dropping a cowl at Wanganui that we would park the boat up until moulds could be made of some of the breakaway parts.
Unfortunately its team mate did not survive the 2008 season after a crash over during racing on the Porirua Harbour in March 2008.
We have made the purchase of the former Advocate boat from the Thomas brothers which we will keep as a spare. The two Hoffman Hull Tunnels have been team mates in a previous life, in the US they were two of the three boats that made up The Advocate Racing Team.
