Profile: Colin Maunder 3 Litre Hydroplane Driver Age 50 Married Fitter Turner Home Town: Whangarei, Northland I come from a powerboat racing family, with my Father Fred Maunder racing flat bottom boats back in the 1950-1968 I started racing Hydroplanes in the 1989-1994 had a break, Now back with a new Hydroplane called Country boy II competing of and on since 2001. Season Objectives: Continue to surpport the 3 litre Modified Hydroplane class. Off season setting up the new Ron Jones Sr Hydroplane, which is currently been built. |
