Profile:
Julian Stilwell
Age: 27
As a 3rd generation boat racer, Julian starting racing in 1997 in F3.

After getting a taste for F1 by driving for Steve Hughes in a round of the F1 series, the team constructed a new F1 boat in 2005.

Having teething problems in the first 2 seasons, 2007 showed a promising 3rd in the NZ F1 championship (despite having a major accident in one of the races).

"2008 proved to be a bit more competitive being the only boat running a 2.0L engine resulting in a 5th in the NZ F1 Nationals.

In 2009 the team hope to be running a 2.5L, which should prove to be a lot more competitive."

The team are currently rebuilding a 2nd team boat for Julian's brother Philip to race and step up to F1. Watch this space....
