79th Annual Conference for the NZPBA - 24th & 25th of July 2026 - Copthorne Hotel Palmerston North

Formal notice is hereby given of the 79^th Annual Conference of the New Zealand Power Boat Association Incorporated.  

 

The Conference will be held at the Copthorne Hotel Palmerston North, 110 Fitzherbert Avenue, Palmerston North, on Friday 24^th (7.30pm) and Saturday 25^th (10.00am) July 2026.

 

Election of Officers
A nomination form is attached.  Please return all nominations for the positions of Officers to the Secretary no later than 10^th June 2026. 

 

Please note that the following current office holders have given notification they do not wish to stand for a further tenure:

President:  Chris Du Feu

Secretary:  Julian Stilwell

Treasurer:  Christine Hanning

 

Remits, Notice of Motion, Recommendations

All remits, notice of motions, new rules and recommendations must be received by the Secretary no later than 10^th June 2026.  Forms are attached for completion.

 

Delegate and Observers Registration

Please ensure the attached registration form is returned to the Secretary the 30^th June 2026.

 

Executive Meeting

There will be an NZ Executive meeting prior to the Conference, on Friday 24^th July starting at 2.30pm.

Please find these attached.  The Financial Statements and all other associated reports will be sent out at a later date prior.

Proposed Calendar Dates for 2026/2027 Season
This has not been attached this year as these will come out of the respective North and South Island Club Meetings as per last year.   The details of these are as follows:

North Island Clubs Meeting:        17th May 2026, 11.00pm at Finns Bistro and Beer Garden, Taupo

South Island Power Boat AGM:   23rd May 2026, 10.00am at the New Brighton Club, 202 Marine Parade, Christchurch
